DAFF considers further cycling trails

There is good news today for mountain bikers.

Agriculture and tourism officers are working together to develop mountain bike trails around the Island.

The only permanent trail on DAFF land at present is in South Barrule plantation, but there could be more in time.

In the House of Keys today, Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne confirmed his department had received requests to construct more (play extended audio file):

Mr Gawne was replying to a question from Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen.
