Charity sets target for week of fund raising

It's Christian Aid Week and the target in the Isle of Man is to raise ?40,000 from public donations.

If the figure is achieved, the Manx government's Overseas Aid Committee will match it with a grant, bringing the total to ?80,000.

Money raised on the Island will go towards the planting of three million trees in Burundi, one of the world's poorest nations, to stop soil erosion.
