Murder accused back in court

A 34 year-old Douglas man accused of murder is due in court today.

Simon Paul Leece, of Fairfield Terrace was charged following a blaze in Demesne Road on March 22, in which builder Terry Losh died.

He is also charged with arson, destroying property with intent to endanger life and damaging property with intent to endanger life.

Those offences follow other fires in Clarke Street and Peveril Street on the same day as the one in Demesne Road, and a blaze in Bucks Road on March 21.
