Thieves target Victim Support

by isleofman.com 12th May 2009

A banner advertising a charity event for Victim Support has itself become the victim of a crime.

The advertisement for "Essentially Dancing " this coming Saturday has been removed from its site at the Quarterbridge.

It was taken sometime last Friday and organisers say they are very upset that someone would want to jeopardise the success of a large public event for a valued local charity.

Anybody who knows who removed the banner is asked to ring police headquarters on 631212, the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 or Victim Support on 679950.
