Major consultation on health and social care

by isleofman.com 11th May 2009

Tackle the issues now or condemn future generations to problems with the cost and quality of health and social care.

That’s the stark warning from Health Minister Eddie Teare this morning (Monday).

His department has launched a major consultation, billed as your opportunity to influence future health policy in the Isle of Man.

It assesses a range of options on how we fund our healthcare and remain in a position to meet the needs of the community.

Mr Teare says it’s vital not to turn a blind eye.
