by isleofman.com 8th May 2009

Police are looking for witnesses to an accident in which a scooter rider came off his machine.

It happened at about 4.30pm on Tuesday on the Creg ny Baa back road, as the scooter rider was travelling towards Laxey.

Police say a blue Subaru car travelling in the opposite direction caused the 26 year-old rider to fall from his bike and receive minor leg and shoulder injuries.

The driver of the Subaru failed to stop.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Moffatt at police headquarters 631 212.
