by isleofman.com 8th May 2009

Sentence on a woman who was almost three times over the legal drink drive limit has been adjourned by the High Bailiff, Michael Moyle.

Fifty-six year-old Christine Anne Davis of Little Meadow, Andreas admitted drink driving.

The court heard a police officer saw her having difficulty parking outside the stores in Andreas at 1.15pm on May1.

She failed a roadside breath test and was taken to police headquarters where she provided blood samples.

They gave an alcohol reading of 239 mg, compared with the legal limit of 80.

Mr Moyle asked for social reports and bailed Davis until May 26 on the condition that she does not drive.
