More evidence to be heard at teenager's inquest

by isleofman.com 8th May 2009

An inquest into the death of a young man from the south of the Island resumes today.

James Anthony Briars, who was 19, died of asphyxia.

His body was discovered on March 30 at his home in Colby.

When the inquest opened last month it heard a rope had been tied around a beam in the loft next to a ladder, which appeared to have been knocked over.

Coroner Michael Moyle adjourned the proceedings until today, so that further enquiries could be made.

Inquest venue and time: Douglas courthouse, 10am.
