Douglas death no longer suspicious

by isleofman.com 7th May 2009

The death of a man in an apartment in Douglas earlier this week is no longer being treated as suspicious.

The body of 49 year-old Bernard Alan Jenkinson was found at a flat on Belmont Terrace on Tuesday morning.

A post mortem was carried out yesterday (Wednesday) by Home Office pathologist Dr Paul Johnson.

Officers say they are still investigating the exact circumstances leading to Mr Jenkinson's death.

Anyone who knew Mr Jenkinson or saw him in the 10 days leading to the discovery of his body is asked to contact police headquarters on 631212 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
