Belmont Terrace body - man named by police

by isleofman.com 7th May 2009

Police have named the man whose body was found at a flat in Douglas earlier this week as 49 year-old Bernard Alan Jenkinson.

Following a post mortem, carried out yesterday by Home Office pathologist Dr Paul Johnson, they are no longer treating the case suspicious.

However, the exact circumstances leading to Mr Jenkinson's death are still being investigated and officers are appealing for anyone who knew him, or saw him in the ten days leading to the discovery of his body, to get in touch.

You can ring Police Headquarters on 631212 or the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111.

Mr Jenkinson's body was found at 13 Belmont Terrace, at 9am on Tuesday.
