by isleofman.com 7th May 2009

The Isle of Man branch of a major charity for the disabled opens its new computer drop in centre this afternoon.

Onchan based Leonard Cheshire Disability has converted unused office space to house the facility, at its Beech House centre.

The organisation helps the physically and mentally disabled and is in the top 30 charities in the United Kingdom in terms of funds raised.

The facility will give disabled people the chance to learn valuable computer skills.

Beech House is on Main Road, Onchan and opens its doors at 3.30pm.
