Bethany completes another challenge

Endurance athlete Bethany Clague has raised hundreds of pounds for the homeless charity Kemmryk, by running 100 miles.

The double Parish Walk finisher covered the distance in three stages over the bank holiday weekend, in a challenge which took her the length of the Island.

The final 20 miles - completed on a treadmill outside Shoprite in Chester Street, Douglas - was a first for Bethany, who had never run more than ten miles on a treadmill before.

She says she's in pain now, but hopes to be running again soon:
