The latest addition to the Steam Packet's fleet will arrive in Douglas this weekend.
The fast craft Manannan will leave Portsmouth on Friday, and is scheduled to arrive here at 10am on Saturday.
The vessel has undergone what is understood to be the most extensive conversion ever undertaken on an aluminium vessel anywhere in the world.
The refurbishment of Manannan has been completed in time for the vessel to come into service for the TT and summer season, and the fast craft is expected to start taking passengers on May 22, on the Liverpool route.
The refit has included the construction of completely new accommodation at the back of the vessel and an enlarged sky lounge on the top deck, which means Manannan will be able to seat more than 800 people.
Onboard there's a children's play area, two cinema lounges and the usual bar and catering facilities.
The car deck will take more than 200 cars.
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company chief executive Mark Woodward says it's been a challenging project, and he hopes as many people as possible will witness Manannan's arrival.
The vessel will become the first Steam packet fast craft to be registered in Douglas.
