by isleofman.com 6th May 2009

A Home Office pathologist will today carry out a post mortem on a man whose body was found in Douglas yesterday morning.

The discovery was made in a flat in Belmont Terrace at about 9am, but no details about the man will be released until his relatives have been informed and he has been formally identified.

The area around the property was cordoned off for most of the day while investigations were carried out.

Officers are appealing for information and are inviting anybody who can help the ongoing investigation to ring Police Headquarters in Douglas on 631212, or the anonymous Crimestoppers line, on 0800 555 111.
