Hyperbaric chamber - Mandate at One report

There are no plans to increase government's contribution towards the running of the Island's hyperbaric chamber.

Health Minister Eddie Teare confirmed the position in his reply to a question from Onchan MHK David Quirk, in the House of Keys today.

Mr Teare said the charity had received ?90,000 a year from the DHSS in each of the last few years.

And, in reply to a question from East Douglas MHK Brenda Cannell he admitted that, while there had been a request for further assistance, there was no extra money in the budget.
