Manx May Day is being celebrated at the National Folk Museum at Cregneash today.
There's plenty going on, with activities including the opportunity to learn more about the folklore and traditions of the day through music, dance and storytelling in Harry Kelly's cottage.
Visitors can also learn about traditional Manx cooking and how to create crosh cuirns (crosses made from twigs of mountain ash), as curator of social history for Manx National Heritage Yvonne Cresswell explains (play attached audio file):
Start time for today's activities at Cregneash: 10am.
