Bands fundraiser for Heartstrong

by isleofman.com 3rd May 2009

A Manx marathon runner is going the extra mile this evening (Sunday) to boost the funds he raised in London last weekend.

Aaron Quinn hopes to raise thousands of pounds for the charity set up in the name of his late friend Craig Lunt, who died from an undiagnosed heart defect four years ago.

Aaron, who is Sports Development Officer at the NSC, ran the marathon for Craig's Heartstrong Foundation last Sunday.

He's now organised a band night at the Old Friends Association in Finch Road in Douglas.

Aaron says organising tonight's event has been quite a marathon in itself.
