Vandals target cars in promenade attack

Police are hunting for vandals who left a trail of destruction on Douglas Promenade on Wendesday night.

A total of five parked cars were damaged in the Castle Drive area on Central Promenade, between 9pm on Wednesday and 8am on Thursday.

All the vehicles had their wing mirrors damaged, and officers say the owners will face hefty bills.

Anybody with information about the incident can contact police on 631212 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
