More than 100 staff are in the final stages of training for their new jobs at Castletown's multi-million pound leisure, shopping and arts complex, Callow's Yard.
The transformation of a derelict plot in the cente of the ancient capital has been happening for the past four years, largely out of public view.
Shops and cafes on the Arbory Street side will open in the new few weeks, with the rest of the development, including hotel apartments, a jazz club, food hall and gallery, opening their doors through the spring and summer.
In the centre of it all is a unique Arena, an open space for functions, exhibitions and sport.
