Swine flu: health officials review position

by isleofman.com 28th April 2009

The Manx Government is keeping a close watch on developments following the outbreak of a new swine flu virus in Mexico.

Government officials say it's well prepared for any escalation towards a pandemic.

Key officers met on Sunday afternoon and will meet on a daily basis to review the position and provide briefings for the Chief Minister.

Health Minister Eddie Teare says there's no need for real concern at the moment.
