Bra dashes hailed a success!

by isleofman.com 27th April 2009

Three bra dashes on the Isle of Man have so far raised around ?5,000 in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

The total is only from bucket collections, with sponsorship money raised by the runners still to be counted.

Around 260 people took part in the bra dashes at Douglas, Castletown and Ramsey this weekend.

Further funds will be raised in Peel on Saturday (May 2) when a fourth set of dashers will attempt to beat last year's bra dash total of nearly ?20,000.
