MHK not happy with anti-terror proposals

An MHK is worried about plans to give new powers to law agencies, so they could carry out searches without warrants, under anti-terror legislation.

In Tynwald this week, Rushen member Quintin Gill asked a question for written answer about how often different government agencies used similar powers already.

Mr Gill was told 'not often' and, in that context, he says the proposals seem unnecessary:
