Geoff Karran MBE, Chairman of the Organising Committee for the Games welcomed this support saying,  “Boston Group’s support is crucial and serves to add momentum to what will be a landmark event for the Island on the global stage.  We have the honour of being the first small nation to be awarded the hosting of the Commonwealth Youth Games and we extend a warm welcome to all nations of the Commonwealth to come to our Island to compete in what we hope will be a friendly yet very competitive Games.
