The Isle of Man must bite the bullet when it comes to planning for energy needs in the future.
So says a spokesman for Friends of the Earth, after the MEA confirmed an onshore wind farm for the Island was a long-term possibility.
The government's Energy Working Group says that while it would be a costly project, wind turbines in the Manx countryside could provide up to 20 megawatts of power, or 12% of the Island's needs.
