The Isle of Man TT Marshals Association is appealing for volunteers and existing members to sign on for duty at TT 2009.
The organisation is keen to reinforce the message about road closures being the same as in the previous two years.
It had been proposed they would close an hour earlier on four afternons during practice week, to allow non-TT riders time to qualify for the inaugural 'clean emissions' TTXGP.
However, after a week of negative reaction to the idea, the TT Coordinating Committee announced a U-turn last Friday.
It means that, as usual, roads will close at 5pm on the mountain section and 6pm for the rest of the course.
