Island passes education test

The Isle of Man's education system has been under scrutiny over the past couple of days, and it seems to have passed the test.

The President of the National Association of Head Teachers has been on the Island meeting local members of the organisation.

Clarissa Williams is impressed that nearly 50% of youngsters go into higher education, and has the highest praise for the trust she sees between the department and the teaching profession.

Ms Williams believes that has a great deal to do with the absence of SAT tests and OFSTED inspections:
