More ordnance could be found - PC

More details have been released about the World War II ordnance found at Spanish Head this week.

There was a test firing range there during the 1940s and military experts brought over to deal with the uncovered items believe they were illumination rounds, which were used to light the area during exercises.

PC Barry Hand says although they aren't highly explosive they are still dangerous in their own right.

Twelve were discovered and blown up in a controlled detonation this morning, but PC Hand hasn't ruled out the possibility of more coming to light:
