TT T-shirt raises cash for charity

Staff at a Douglas clothing store are hoping a simple T-shirt will soon become a real 'signature' piece.

The extra-large shirt has been signed by 18 top TT riders and is now the centre of a big fund raising appeal for charity.

TT fan Nuala Perrin is manager of M & Co in Chester Street, Douglas and it was her money-spinning idea to have the shirt signed by TT stars at the media launch for the 2009 event earlier this week.

Customers are invited to work out whose signatures are on the shirt or buy a raffle ticket.

There's also a cash draw.

Nuala says it's a simple idea which should pay dividends:
