A 34 year-old man charged with murder has been further remanded in custody by High Bailiff Michael Moyle, until May 12.
Simon Paul Leece, of Fairfield Terrace in Douglas is also accused of arson, destroying property with intent to endanger life and damaging property with intent to endanger life.
Inspector Andrew Turner, prosecuting, said enquiries were ongoing.
