New way to pay fixed penalty fines?

It may one day be possible to pay fixed penalty parking fines at local post offices, but it won't be in the near future.

In Tynwald today, Treasury Minister Allan Bell was asked questions on the subject by North Douglas MHK John Houghton.

Mr Bell said a working group had been looking at the issue for three years, and a report would be out this summer.

However, the arrangement, if it went ahead, was still some way off:
