Leading manufacturer reveals anniversary plans

Honda is marking its 50th anniversary of TT competition by issuing of a number of commemorative items, including a book outlining the history of its involvement in the races.

There are also plans to unveil a plaque at the location in Onchan where the Japanese manufacturer had its first garage in the Isle of Man.

The news was confirmed at last night's media launch for TT 2009, by manager of Honda Racing Neil Tuxworth:
