Training sessions for Romanian visitors

by isleofman.com 20th April 2009

Fire fighters from Romania have been training with the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service.

They received lessons in fire fighting and dealing with road accidents, including how to use breathing equipment and ladders.

The trip was organised through Operation Florian, a charity which helps provide fire fighting equipment to needy communities.

The visitors' transport to and from the Island was sponsored by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.
