TT stars, media representatives from the Isle of Man and further afield, and government officials packed the grandstand this afternoon for photo shoots and interviews.
The gathering was held ahead of this evening's media launch for the 2009 festival at the Villa Marina, when riders will be looking ahead to race fortnight.
It gets underway at 7pm and is open to the public.
Speaking this afternoon, TT absolute record holder John McGuinness told Edward Oldham it had been a great day so far and he was looking forward to TT 2009, which is now just six weeks away:
