A second strike by bus workers in the Isle of Man, planned for today, has been put on hold.
Inspectors and depot supervisors went ahead with a one day stoppage eleven days ago, in a dispute over pay and conditions.
It was the first bus strike in the Island for 25 years, although services operated as normal.
Negotiations officer for the union Prospect Angela Moffatt hopes agreement can now be reached between management and the group of staff involved.
She told Manx Radio:
"It has actually been suspended for the time being [and] we have got into negotiations with management.
"We had been in talks but they had been going nowhere but, as a result of the one day action, I think it's focused minds on trying to find a solution.
"In a sense, the one day strike has actually galvanised both parties towards trying to find a solution."
