Positive response from Jersey to PM's letter

Jersey has followed the Isle of Man's lead and welcomed a letter from United Kingdom Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

He wrote to all the Crown dependencies to tell them they had to raise their financial transparency and regulatory standards.

Jersey’s Chief Minister Terry Le Sueur says the letter is a positive endorsement of his jurisdiction's policies, and denies it's a series of thinly-veiled threats:
