House to house enquiries follow assault

A 60 year-old man needed hospital treatment following an altercation between a group of men in Douglas on Saturday evening.

Police are conducting house to house enquiries in the Grosvenor Road area, where the incident took place.

They are keen to speak to anyone who heard or saw anything which might help the investigation.

Witnesses are asked to ring Lord Street Police Station on 631425 or the anonymous Crimestoppers number, which is 0800 555 111.
