Intent to murder case - jury to be sworn in

A man and woman facing charges over an incident which left two men requiring hospital treatment in Pulrose last year go on trial today.

Christopher William Scatchard, a self-employed window cleaner of no fixed abode, is accused of wounding with intent to murder.

Thirty year-old Michelle McBurnie, of Hazel Crescent in Pulrose, is charged with assisting him.

The charges relate to an incident in Oak Avenue, Pulrose, on April 18 last year.

Both are due to appear before Acting Deemster Sullivan this afternoon, when a jury will be sworn in.
