Good start for defending champ Crowe

by isleofman.com 14th April 2009

Nick Crowe was the pick of the Manx riders at round one of the British Superbikes at the weekend.

The defending Formula Two Sidecar champion and his passenger Mark Cox won one race and came second in the other, finishing behind former world champion Tim Reeves.

Conor Cummins finished 13th in the Superstock 1000 but Gavin Hunt, who was on the fourth row of the grid, apparently didn't start the race.

Dan Kneen was 17th in the Superstock 600 while Mark Cringle finished 21st in the Supersport.
