Sixteen teams from seven countries have confirmed their participation in the TTXGP, the world's first clean emissions motorcycle race.
A total of 24 machines are due to line up on the start line in Glencrutchery Road, in the Open and Pro classes, ahead of the Senior TT on June 12.
Additional practice time has been scheduled to allow Manx Grand Prix competitors to take part without making them ineligible for the MGP.
On Tuesday, June 2, and on the following two days, an extra hour has been bolted on, meaning roads will close at 4pm around the mountain section, and at 5pm around the rest of the course.
Tourism and Leisure Minister Martyn Quayle is apologising for the inconvenience this may cause, but hopes everybody will be understanding, given the importance of the groundbreaking event.
