Sentence on a man who held a knife to his girlfriend's throat has been adjourned for reports, by High Bailiff Michael Moyle.
Twenty-one year-old Andrew Mark Caine, of Peel Road in Douglas, admitted a charge of provoking behaviour.
He also admitted theft and obstructing police in relation to two separate incidents.
On March 14 Caine got a kitchen knife and held it to his girlfriend's throat, then used it to damage all the kitchen worktops at her flat.
On April 4 he was arrested at his flat for breach of bail, but gave police officers a false name.
The charge of theft related to Caine stealing two packets of sandwiches from Marks and Spencer last month.
He had his bail renewed and will appear for sentence on April 28.
