Murder accused remanded in custody

A 34 year-old man charged with murder, arson and destroying property with intent to endanger life has made a further appearance before the High Bailiff.

Simon Paul Leece of Fairfield Terrace, Douglas, was remanded in custody by Michael Moyle to appear again on April 21.

Inspector Andrew Turner, prosecuting, said enquiries were ongoing.
