Bishop Robert will be braving the cold temperatures of the sea this weekend.
Thousands of people are expected to line the promenade in Peel on Easter Sunday to watch the first interdominational 'Baptism on the Beach', which will bring together Anglicans, Roman Catholics and Pentecostalists.
Bishop Robert is organising the event and says it's an opportunity for those already baptised to reaffirm their faith, in or out of the water (play attached audio file):
'Baptism on the Beach' begins at 3.30pm on Easter Sunday and is expected to finish well before 5pm.
If the weather is bad the event will be moved to the grounds of St German's Cathedral in Peel.
