Increase in postage rates

by isleofman.com 6th April 2009

Postage costs in the Isle of Man have gone up.

It's now 32p to send a letter to a local address and 33p for destinations in the United Kingdom.

Royal Mail recently announced a 3p increase in stamp prices and the Channel Islands are proposing similar rates of increase.

Isle of Man Post says despite the increase, its basic letter rates remain cheaper than its counterparts in other parts of the British Isles.
