Island's Filipino community joins forces

by isleofman.com 4th April 2009

The second consular outreach programme for the Island's Filipino community is taking place this weekend.

It will provide an opportunity for the 1,000 plus Filipinos on the Island to speak to their consular representative to sort out any problems they may have.

The new Consul General, Maria Theresa Dizon de Vega, is on the Island for the first time.

Speaking from London, she's been outlining what will be happening this weekend.

The sessions take place at the Baptist Chuch in Broadway Douglas from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and between 9am and 12 noon on Sunday at the Manx Legion Club in Douglas.
