Town stayed top after a 6-1 win at strugglers Ronaldsway.

An Alex Crawley hat-trick, two goals from Michael Edge and one from Max Perry secured the points in the southern derby.

St John's remain favourites for the CFS Division Two crown and avenged their recent GH Corlett Woods Cup semi-final defeat against Douglas Royal with a 4-0 success.

Two goals in each half sealed the points.

Anthony Moore, Michael Peace (two) and Mark Wolfenden were the scorers.

Northern Athletic produced a battling display in a 1-0 defeat to Pulrose.

Mark Walmsley’s goal was all that separated the sides as Pulrose remain fourth to keep alive their faint promotion hopes.

Third placed Marown completed their league programme in style with a 6-2 home win against Braddan.

After a goal apiece in the first half, Marown ran out comfortable winners with goals from Jeremy Lovett (two), Steven Hinds, Paul Dunn, Phil Jones and Kevin Druggan.

Karl Wheeler and Carl Kenny were the Braddan marksmen.

Goals from Andrew Black and a Martin Murphy penalty ensured Ramsey Youth Centre maintained their fine form with a 2-1 win at Foxdale, while a Richard Brant hat-trick and a Daniel Clague goal secured an impressive win for Douglas and District in a seven goal contest at Onchan.

Paul Morris, Mike Spencer and John Bradley were the home side’s scorers.

In the remaining game, Malew won 4-2 at the Police.
