Bye-law breakers could be fined

Douglas Council is warning the protestors bye-law officers will be patrolling the park in Woodbourne Square this mornng.

Council leader David Christian says everybody has a right to protest, but he is telling those involved that anybody who breaks the 'no dogs' rule could face a fixed penalty fine of ?50.

It's been claimed the council is ignoring the dog owners, but Councillor Christian says that's not the case:
