It's day two of the International Criminal Justice conference at the Villa Marina in Douglas.
Delegates are looking at the misuse of substances and ways of reducing crime and reoffending.
A number of internationally renowned speakers are talking at the event today, including the managing director of the Swedish Council for Information, Alcohol and other Drugs, Bjorn Hibell, who is delivering a presentation on young people, alcohol and drugs in Europe.
It follows the release of a major report by the European School Survey Project which, among other things, highlighted the seriousness of the binge drinking culture in the Isle of Man.
There will also be a talk by Thoroddur Bjarnason, a Professor of Sociology at a university in Iceland, who will be discussing adolescent substance use in island communities.
