There's disruption to power supplies which is affecting phones and computer systems.
The Manx Electricity Authority undertook essential work in the area which led to the problem.
Patients with a life threatening emergency are asked to dial 999 and not attempt to contact the surgery.
Patients with appointments for urgent problems wishing to see a GP should attend the surgery but are warned there may be delays.
The practice says it will not be possible to generate repeat prescriptions today.
Ramsey Cottage Hospital and the MIU are not affected by the problem and are operating at normal.
