Grant Thornton is Championship Sponsor

This will be the fourth year that the leading accountancy firm has sponsored the event having entered into a ten year support arrangement two years ago.

 

Grant Thornton Senior Partner Dennis McGurgan told isleofman.com that they were very proud to have joined with the Isle of Man Golf Union in the 10 year sponsorship of this prestigious event.

 

Mr McGurgan commented ‘We greatly value this opportunity to show our support to the local golfing community and to help foster interest and improvement in the sport. Year on year this event keeps growing and we are delighted to be a part of its success.'

 

The Championship, organised by the Isle of Man Golf Union, is now in its 78th year and each year the event is held on a different Manx course with this event being hosted by Mount Murray Golf Club in Santon on July 18, with the final on July 25.
