Demesne Road fire - murder charge

A man has been charged with murder, following a flat fire nine days ago.

A 34 year-old Douglas resident is accused of being responsible for the death of 61 year-old Terence Milburn Losh, who died in a blaze at number 19, Demesne Road in the early hours of Sunday, March 22nd.

He is due to appear in court in Douglas this morning.

The man also faces four counts of arson with intent to endanger life, following fires at Demesne Road, Clarke Street and Peveril Street, Douglas on March 22nd, and a fire at 59 Bucks Road, Douglas the previous day.
